Alright, so I had a bit of a trip up and failed again. Other than myself, I blame still being despressingly sick. A cough that has prevented me from a week of good night sleep. This mixed with the very neccessary use of energy drinks to push myself to make progress on an unnamed project. I’m not sure what the last episode I watched was but I am behind, for sure. Did a silly little cold ever prevent Ze from doing a show? I dont think so. I wish to have this man’s determination. As I finish my soup during my late lunch, I look forward to another fresh start called “tomorrow”.

April 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 – Fresh Start

I was under the assumption last night that a sleeping pill at 9:30pm would gauruntee recovery from 3 terrible nights of sleep. Although having slept soundly through the night, When I woke at 7:15am this morning, not only was a not refreshed, exhillerated, and excited about life, I felt like death. The shower, which normally gives me a bit of a wake up, did nothing. My wife literally dressed me. My eyelids feel like burnt crispy flakes, while my eyeballs feels as if I never blink. I am at work now in disbelief of how tired I still am. My throat hurts so coffee doesn’t sound great. I feel like doing absolutely nothing but sleep. Where did I go wrong? Unisom? I rarely take sleeping pills. When I do, I usually feel great the next morning.

As much as a feel like complete crapola, I feel like I can turn this around into a fresh start. Get back to eating healthy 24/6, drinking tea, no energy drinks, limited coffee, and snacking throughout the day. I am going to log my food and weight again and go to bed before 10am. And also, after a week of no posts, I am putting more effort into writing more often. This is when I remember feeling great. The thought of being back on track has given me a little relief from my current low.

Oh yea, my power move. I need to finish that.

Okay, so I’ve sucked on the nipples of truth and resigned myself to the fact that I am not able to post a worthwhile reaction for every episode of the show. Because of this, I’ve renegotiated with myself a new resolution to allow posting less often: links, videos, and pictures barely relating, and/or completely unrelating to the episode in reference.

2 grins and a laugh for these 3:03 minutes. So, I’m curious how many more of these posts I’ll struggle through before the first actual participation event occurs. I have this feeling that my reactions will gradually relate less and less to The Show as my expounding abilities diminish. Egh.

I’m so tired. But now appreciate more than ever Ze’s ability to have done The Show every day. For me, coming up with a simple episode reaction is draining. Maybe with practice it’ll get easier. That’s how it’s supposed to work, right?

Scanning through the comments of this second episode, I see posts of viewers who had rewatched the series. Some deconstruct and analyze the elements that formulate it’s beauty, observing how its evolved. For me, it’s easier to enjoy it’s brilliance when Ze does my thinking for me (as first coined in this episode).
